Vintage silver compact
Hallmarked - just under the powder gauze screen - Birmingham 1938, this Art Deco engine turned silver compact also has the date ‘April 6th 1940’ engraved inside, just around the opening mechanism.
In very good condition, it has a small black mark on the top which may come out with a little more polishing, we didn’t want to press on too hard. It is completely usable with a mirror and an intact powder compartment complete with gauze screen.
Measuring 7 cm in diameter, it is also engraved with the initials ‘RH’ on the front.
